Branching Out


A collection of twigs and branches.
Inspired by a vintage field guide from the 1920's.
This is my first painting for the series.
So many ideas, so many possibilities.
A new year is upon us.

    A wonderful drawing. Have you come across the Festival of the trees? January's submission is all about Tu Bishvat, new ear for the trees :)

    The smallest hint of green at the end of this twig makes me anticipate the colors of spring. What will you and your brush create?
