Butterfly Pavilion

My cousins are vacationing in Washington, DC this weekend,
so I ventured into the city yesterday to meet up with them
and tour some of the museums and monuments.

The highlight of my excursion was visiting the Butterfly Pavilion
at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
A live exhibit of moths and butterflies!

We were told to be very careful because the butterflies
fly low and could possibly land on you!
One landed on my cousin's finger!

  1. Oooooo! We were just there in March. My daughter and I went into the butterfly pavillion... we could have stayed for hours but for the heat and humidity!

    Lovely!
