Nesting

Sorry for the fuzzy picture. It's the best I could do.
This charming American Robin built a nest on our front porch.
I have been stalking her for days, trying to take a picture.
She is not at all happy about our comings and goings
and is constantly on the move. It can't be good for the little eggs.
I do hope they will hatch!

  1. You are so lucky to have a nesting bird at your house. What ever possessed her to build it where it is busy though? I hope your eggs hatch. Let us know if they do!

he's gotten alot of photos from feeding the birth and just recently leaving the nest. he's hoping they will survive (there's a cat nearby)

  6. how wonderful-- what a great picture holly--despite the fuzziness! we have mostly sparrows in the city, but we've had a cardinal pair and blue jay pair at our feeder this spring. and i love your yellow warblers in the post above-- a striking pair!
