That is the cutest blue jay ever, he looks like he's on a mission! My favorite 70's song as a child (and I still love it) is On the Radio - Donna Summer.
Hey Holly, it's so wonderful that you have pursued your talent into adult life. So often diversions happen and we lose our path! A wonderful little snippet of serendipity to share with you from our evening meal tonight. We have created Grace cards for our table [see my post 13th June 'Serendipity at Mealtimes'] and tonight the card that was drawn had your art on it and the message 'In plenty think of want; In want, do not presume plenty - Chinese proverb'. The kids were quite excited when I told them that I had met the artist on the internet. Thank you for the many blessings that you share,
Laura, I was listening to all of the songs last night after many years ... Marlo Thomas and Friends - old friends by now ... I can still remember all of the words!
I really like old photos and you were a super cutey. Little ones drawings are so 'mature' and 'innocent'; the trick is to retain this childish spirit, easier said than done me thinks...
How very, very cute! For some reason I thought you were younger than I am! :-o Not sure why. Isn't it weird how you can form a picture of a person in your head and be so convinced it's true? (Not that you're OLD - okay, stepping deeper into the mess here, just saying I thought you were around... 22).
Adorable! I was a 70's girl too, and 'free to be you and me' was my favorite, I loved that album. The blue jay drawn by your young self is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anna! I loved Ladies First and It's All Right To Cry. ; )
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your early blue jay drawing. How fun to see your 70's gal pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of the Blue Jay is gorgeous. I love the atmosphere in old photos and the picture of you is beautiful.
