Holly-40! I know, I am turning 40 in exactly 5 months and I just had a conversation about it last night with my husband. and wrote about it today over at the good ole'blog ....you'll get a laugh out of it. eat lots of cake, find some good bugs and enjoy:) ~Beth (over the hill, literally).
Happy Birthday! It is scary where the time goes but hopefully it's enjoyable as it passes! I love reading your blog and I'm lucky enough to have one of your amazing paintings, which I never tire of looking at. Here's to the next 40 years and beyond! :)

I am reading this nearly one week later! Hope you had a fine birthday. As far as turning forty and where in the world did the time go....all I can tell you is...just wait. I'll be 54 in December and I still find it shocking!!! Have a great year...the forties are wonderful!
