Facebooking Incognito

leaf bugs
I know it seems like a contradiction. It is. If you know me just a little, it's not.
Ever so slowly worlds are colliding and I'm starting to feel a bit twitchy.
I can hear Catherine Tate in my head saying, "Are you bothered?"
If you don't know the British comedian, dash to Netflix and put her show in your queue.
Anyhow, you can hear the echo over there on my fledgling Facebook page
Hello, helloooo, hellooooooooo. Is there anybody out there?
Do stop by. I promise it can only get better.
Happy Friday!

  1. Holly, are you twitchy (good word!) at feeling/becoming too public, or at having too many sites to keep up with, or something else?

Personally I wish I could be a bit less visible on Facebook. (Almost-invisible is my normal comfort zone.) There are ways to limit who sees which post etc, but it all seems so tedious & obscure sometimes. But I do enjoy the opportunity to connect with family & friends who live far away.

I wish you luck in finding your comfort zone & losing the twitchies!

  2. Luanne: Hiding in plain sight is my comfort level. Invisible is even better. I know it seems silly because I'm already out there and all over the place. I joined because I wanted to join pinterest and I needed a facebook or twitter account. So I picked FB and I'm slowly figuring it all out, but it's not as intuitive as other sites, so it's going to take me a while to get all of the settings straight. I'm hopelessly late to the party! Have a super weekend!

  3. LOL Catherine Tate is crazy-talented. The Sam & Paul skits are so funny too.

  5. I believe the word you are looking for is "bovvered" ^_^. It's so funny you mention it, I just finished the series on Wednesday; there weren't enough of them.

  6. Yes, very bovvered. Are you disrespecting me? ; ) We have adopted so many Catherine Tate-isms in our family. She's so good.

  7. LOL at my Golly Bard! On Facebook, keeping a blog, selling artwork, needing exposure yet treasuring privacy. Ahh the paradox of social media and business!
