A Day in November

The foliage is still turning. The hills look a little more bare each day.

It's a perfect day in November. They sky is grey and the colors just pop.

Birdie and I take this walk behind the churchyard at least twice a day.

There is always something new to see and a pretty view to enjoy.

Friday Again?

Sorry I've been missing for a few days. Our little dog Birdie has been 

under the weather this week and needed my attention. 

I'm happy to report she's feeling much better now and is back to her old tricks.

Needless to say this week has flown by and I have a few new paintings

that I will be listing over the weekend.

Two splendid souls.

Light and Shadows

My new silhouette paintings really change depending on how the light hits them.
I used a lot of silver and gold guache which creates a celestial glow like distant stars in the sky.

I'm conjuring up my neighbors. The spirits that live in the churchyard.

Seems fitting for this time of year.
