Verdant Green

A walk around my small garden.
Oakleaf hydrangeas are blooming.
I love the conical shape of each cluster.

Creeping Jenny is taking over.
What a lush, verdant green ground cover.
Its color adds a wonderful contrast in the garden.
In the winter it is tinged with red.

Where I live (in Melbourne, Australia), the weather is so hot and desperately dry, everything is totally parched in Summer. I love seeing pictures of lush green summer gardens - dreamy!
