Rosy

I pine for brighter and warmer days.
Days where everything is rosy pink and lovely and hopeful.
I painted these purple finches as a little distraction
from the bitter wind and cold.

I've been using pink (and yellow too!) as a distraction from the gloomy weather as well. Your finches are so beautiful! --Sadee @ a Picturebook Life

The way you paint them carrying the sprig of fern, (maidenhair fern?) is wonderful, makes the whole piece look like its floating upwards.....

Lovely finches. Many birds singing and chirping here.

I am SO with you on the brighter colors and warmer weather. Although, this morning was beautiful- waking to frost covered pine trees and misty snow. I must say each season has its own beauty. I am loving the new additions to your shop and am going to visit it soon!
