Satin Bowerbird

I started this painting a long time ago and never finished it.
Usually I give up and move on but this week I decided to work on it again.
I find Bowerbirds fascinating. They are quite organized collectors.
Apparently, the Satin Bowerbird prefers blue. Who can blame him? Don't we all?
He presents his bounty in little piles, artfully arranged to woo his lady love.
It's quite romantic when you think about it.
This watercolor painting measures 18 x 24 inches.
I just added him to my shop.
