A Closer Look | Sphinx Moths

I recently traveled to Sedona, AZ and these sphinx moths were there to greet me!
There were at least fifteen of them outside my door one morning.
I love their striped markings and the hint of pink on their wings.

How lucky of you to have seen these beautiful moths.
Sphynx are one of the larger moths here in France and difficult to see.

Do tell about your visit to Sedona. Did you feel it? The vibes I guess is what I've heard they go there for. Oh, and I'm sure it is beautiful.

They are stunning. A good size moth, though not huge. Maybe three inch wingspan at the most.

Donna: I've visited Sedona many times now and it is such a striking scenic backdrop of redrocks. It is quite wondrous and spectacular. It is uplifting for sure, but I have not felt the energy of the vortexes in Sedona, though people do claim to feel something different.

I do have to paint ine for a project I'm working on, so seeing them in person was fortuitous. Maybe I'll do a second one for my Etsy shop. You never know. :)
