so beautiful. I have a special affection for these butterflies. I miss my old house that had an abundantly huge butterfly bush right outside my studio windows and I could watch them swarm it along with the many birds that visited the feeders nearby as well!
I love them too. It's been so hot and humid here. We finally had a bit of rain and you can see the swallowtails drinking from the puddles on the ground.

It is one of the larger butterfly we have in France. It is more and more rare to see them in my garden.
i love these butterflies... especially when they are visiting purple cone flowers
