Memory Fades


Remembering Mrs. W.
She always carried her cutting shears.
She loved her garden.
She was such a lady, always kind.
I don't think she knew my name.
I will forever remember hers,
though memories fade.

Thank you Laura! Sometimes looking at the fragments is better than the whole. Isn't that what happens anyway? We remember the little details and the bigger picture ceases to exist.
