i haven't seen any forsythia in florida, but i remember what seeing forsythia for the first time means to northerners! ahhh! sweet relief finally comes after a long, colorless winter and forsythia is the messenger. yellow can be so intense. but, your pictures bring out the gentle aspect of yellow and make forsythia feel like a friend.
