These are gorgeous! Such beautiful texture and shapes. Thanks for sharing these pics. I am having a vintage holiday brooch giveaway at my blog. Please stop by :)
I am totally smitten with seedheads, I guess it is why I used one for my business logo. So much beauty, what a way to go! I am really excited about seedheads I have collected, pressed and want now to imprint onto metal for my jewellery. I am sure yours will find their way into your amazing paintings. Bx
I have to echo Belinda. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you do with them in your beautiful work. The second one is Milkweed isn't it? Do you know the names of the other two? They are all gorgeous.
Belinda: That sounds really cool. I wished I had saved them. Alas, with a camera in one hand and a dog leash in the other, well... I need a third hand!
Priya: You know they'll find their way into my work one day. yes, the second is milkweed, the last some sort of lantern pod, and the first might be a type of thistle, but I'm really not sure.

Priya: a little update: the first is possibly a clematis seed cloud.
Wow! These are amazing and wonderful. Did you use a macro lens or just a regular lens?
Anne-Marie: I used the macro setting on my little canon elph.
very beautiful golly. You've got a good eye! Von G
Thanks Von Grief! xo
I sometimes find similar ones and they always stop me in my tracks. Something very fairy like and enchanting about them! Your photos are amazing too.
