I forgot to post these pages from my sketchbook last week.
Vibrant colors, bright tulip paintings and patterns from my week working in Florida.
A little palette departure, I know, but I don't know if I really have a consistent palette.
I'm open to what's around me and this is what happens when I
leave the grey skies and dormant landscape of Virginia,
and step into a tropical paradise. Sometimes the eye has to travel.

Thanks for letting us travel with you!
My pleasure, Darlene!
I love how sure you are with color and the brush~I am new to watercolor, and I find it scary. It's inspiring to me to see your work!
Debra, you are too kind. There are many times when I am quite unsure and painting find themselves torn up and thrown in the bin!
