His wings? His adorable little snout?

What's not to love about this little green charmer?

I'm reading about taxonomy. 

The origin of the word is taxis which means arrangement.

There is nothing I love more.

Vestiges

Three snake skins found in the yard.

I'm reading about taxidermy mounts.

Don't worry, it's not an art form I care to explore.

There won't be a how-to, though I am fascinated.

Reading about taxidermy has me thinking about fur,

Meret Oppenheim, and Diane Arbus.
