Trees, roots, lungs.

Nature and anatomy are so alike.

This morning the trees

were casting shadows on my palette.

This is my cure for the winter blues.

Hidden

Secret doors and compartments,

mysterious passageways, fantasy worlds.

I am ever curious about the world on the other side,

a world out of reach and hidden from view. 

If only we could peek.

Patterned Plumage

I have a slight obsession with patterns and surface design.

One day I would love to create wallpaper, fabric,

and perhaps a plate service.

In this digital world it just might be possible.

I think it would be such fun to explore the possibilities.
