Patterned Plumage

I have a slight obsession with patterns and surface design.
One day I would love to create wallpaper, fabric,
and perhaps a plate service.
In this digital world it just might be possible.
Spoonflower  is an incredible digital fabric service.
I think it would be such fun to explore the possibilities.

Hello Annamaria! It is just so exciting that services like spoonflower are out there. It makes printing on fabric accessible to anyone who wants to give it a try! It's certainly on my wish list.

Thank you Caroline and Laura! Can you tell I am pining for warmer weather? I'm a little tired of grey days, muddy paw prints and dirty snow.

Do it!!! Spoonflower is one of my mom's favorites when she turns an illustration into fabric.

I see turtles and turtle shells in your future. They provide a wide variety of colors and patterns for your paintings.Maybe frogs too for your summer collection. Guillermo

I somehow missed the notification of this post in my reading list. Just now discovered it! The leaves are beautiful! You could have your first fabric from Spoonflower in your home in a matter of weeks-- or maybe even days. You should definitely do it! :)

Gloria, Thank you too! I love the patterns in your work as well! I'm really thinking about it - perhaps an upholstered piece. We'll see. It would be so much fun.
