Hoot

Here's a sneak peek at a giant horned owl that I've been working on.
I've gone a tad overboard with the patterning of this fine feathered friend!
But I couldn't resist! I'll be back at the end of next week with an update.
Have a lovely weekend!

He is the most beautiful owl ever! I just adore your artwork. It has such a unique style, and your colors are always used in a creative way.

I love that you go overboard. It's the kind of art where you will see something different in it everytime you look at it. LOVE IT!

I too am glad you have gone overboard on the detail. Lovely work. I am not sure how big this is but it if it is small I guess your eyes have been under some pressure.

Is that a rabbit reflected in the eyes of the Owl? Only the hunter knows for sure...

wooooow...thats so detailed!!!and amazing! my question for your "watercolour 101" is: when you do white on top of colour (like on the feet) do you use a different type of paint? i can never get white watercolour to show up over another colour.
