It's blazing hot outside and I'm thinking about firewood.
We live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains without a fireplace.
I know, it's crazy. We do have a fire pit, but it's not the same.
We have a huge wood pile which has inspired many paintings.

I have often wondered what to do with all the wood.
I found these beautiful photographs taken by Katy Elliot.
Now I have an idea of how to use my logs.
Make a pathway.
