Trailing Lights

The moving walkway at the National Gallery of Art.
Reminds me of neon when the lights are blurred like this.

Saw an interesting exhibit of  Allen Ginsberg's photographs.
A window into his life as a beat poet, many pictures from the early years.
The movie Howl is coming out soon. I'm intrigued.
Happy Friday all!
p.s.
I gave my shop and drawing room a little makeover.
Do you like it?

I love the makeover! This is always such a wonderful place to visit.

You might have seen this :http://www.etsy.com/storque/etsy-news/tech-update-new-wider-shop-pages-9910/
But did you know Etsy used your shop for the new wider pages illustration?

I hope you have a lovely weekend:)

Like the new page banner and how you signed it with your own hand. Nice touch!

Barbara: I did see it - only at first I though everyone was seeing a version of their shop - not that everyone was seeing my shop! I was so honored to be the "sample".

Thank you Mimi! I though with the new wider pages in my shop it was time to freshen up a little bit.

ginsberg is the one who finally convinced me that modern poetry rocks just as hard as classic poetry. a lot of my friends and even family don't like him, but there's a certain musicality, restless energy, and insanity in his poems to draw me in. i have no idea how producers are going to pull off a 'Howl' movie, but i'll definitely keep an eye out for that!

Linz: I have been meaning to pull my copy of howl off the shelf. It has been a while. I'm curious about the movie too. James Franco plays Ginsberg.
